Fit For A Princess: Made of silk taffeta, Diana’s gown has the longest train in Royal history, measuring 25 feet. The wedding dress was beaded with 10,000 pearls. The Spencer tiara had been in Diana’s family for almost a century. The average wedding dress is 6 pounds-but Diana’s was said to weigh 20 pounds.
The Princess’ wedding style marked the beginning of Diana-mania. Women everywhere were obsessed.
