Reaching for the Sun metal print by Michael Frank.   Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. About Michael Frank

Michael Frank

Michael Frank has been painting for over 35 years. He has developed his skills from attending many artist workshops and some college, but mainly from studying the works of the "Hudson River School" artists of the mid to late 1800's. Some of their landscape locations were very exotic, but it really didn't matter. Because of their attention to detail, coloring and strong direction of light, you would think that you were looking at a magical place, while in a magical moment. That's what I strive to acheive. Michael considers himself a representational luminous painter of landscapes & seascapes. He usually starts with the grisaille method of painting with a monotone painting over a white or bright yellow canvas. He then starts adding layers...
