The Tin Man Canvas Print

Original painting of a youngster that finds an oil can in the middle nowhere. Little does she know the oil can is part of a long ago story involving the "Tin Man" (shown partialy buried among the tree roots below her). Also shown is the remnants of a yellow brick road. This painting is one of three in the "Yellow Brick Road series".

Michael Frank has been painting for over 35 years. He has developed his skills from attending many artist workshops and some college, but mainly from studying the works of the "Hudson River School" artists of the mid to late 1800's. Some of their landscape locations were very exotic, but it really didn't matter. Because of their attention to detail, coloring and strong direction of light, you would think that you were looking at a magical place, while in a magical moment. That's what I strive to acheive. Michael considers himself a representational luminous painter of landscapes & seascapes.
